Day two

Deb is so amazing. She took 3 walks today! She won a gold medal in the IV Pole Olympics. Her sense of humor has not waivered. (even through the pain and nausea). Her many visitors have brought her strength and laughter. We even got to hear show tunes- Deb and Don in harmony. Although she can not eat until she passes gas, the Popsicles are a saving grace. Sharing ice chips with Ava makes all of us smile. The flowers in the room have lifted everyones spirits. Dr. Kuceras, the nurses, and everyone at Providence have been wonderful. (Certainly a family atmosphere.) Don has been an angel and been by her side all the way.
Happy Anniversary Deb and Don tomorrow. Pray for a fart!
With love, Mary, Wendy, John and Cindy XOXOXOX
