Hi Sweetheart,I am so sorry to hear you are facing the biggest battle of your life. Writing this is very hard through misty eyes. My gut feeling is you will beat this "C" monster. There are so many new treatments available now. Look into them all before you decide what to do. Some friends of mine went through Proton Therapy in Loma Linda, CA for cancer and they are completely cured. It is such a great option as it is only 9 weeks long (45 minutes per day), virtually painless and you don't have all those nasty side effects like hair loss, nausea, tiredness, etc. One friend had his treatment each day and then went to play 3 sets of tennis right after everyday. I would like to come see you for a day or two if it works for you. I have a few days between Sept 2-4 or Sept 15-18 this month. Maybe we could even go somewhere else, so you can just get away. Let me know if that would work.We are going to our place on the North Fork river over Labor Day weekend, if you guys want to come over. Kris had asked Don early in the summer if you wanted to join us there sometime, but we figured you were having a busy summer as usual.I am sending positive loving thoughts your way, and know you are strong enough to conquer anything.Love Carolyn
