From Don with a whole lotta love

To all of our family, friends and anonymous support team. Here we are in day four of recovery after Deb's surgery and this is the first time you have heard from me. Well, here I am and here we are. I want to personally thank everyone for their love and support. There is no way to measure how much it has helped both Deb and myself. This whole experience has been an all to real reminder that life itself is our most important gift. Never take it for granted. I am so blessed to have Deb in my life as she continues to teach and amaze me every day. We are on this journey together and we are moving forward as one, drawing strength from each other. We celebrated our 33rd anniversary on Sunday. I asked her if we could do something different on our 34th and she assured me we will. A warm sandy beach sounds pretty good right about now. We are getting through this, one little piece at a time. Today we're looking for a fart so solid foods can replace the ice chips. I know she can do it because she's cleared a few rooms in her past. The reality is, with all of your support, Deb's incredible sense of "I'm not going anywhere" and the grace of God, we are firmly on our way to a healthy recovery. Deb believes that there are only two true emotions, love and fear. We choose love.

We love you all,
Don

Don..it IS a two (or more) person journey...and you will feel sand between your toes together again....

Linda and I felt our lives would never be the same again because of her cancer...and it isn't the same..it is better..we celebrate every day we have together now and we are living life to the fullest...and being current in our lives for whatever there is.

And we are feeling the sand between our toes again.....

Each day is a new normal....

Take care of yourself too... I thought I was and one day I was flattened....

Please remember to breath and take advantage of every support system offered......

You two will make it because of your energy and outlooks....
