I was really glad to hear your voice today! I don't expect calls but treasure any time I get to talk with you. Last week Monday you really helped me to process some very difficult feelings. It helped me more than you know.
I honor you for your wisdom about what is important in life and just the way you communicate with honesty and compassion. If the doctor even gets just a little of that "soul training" he will be a better man....and perhaps a better doctor. I am so lucky to have you as a teacher and a friend. I know you are having some tough days and the low points are traumatic to you both physically and emotionally. I also see you facing all of this cancer and the treatments with such bravery and inner strength. You are my hero Deborah, and an inspiration for getting the most out of every experience.
