Matt and I met Deb, Don, Mary and John at the club Decoy Friday after work. Deb looked fantastic in one of her new wigs which she does not need yet. Her energy level was amazing and she looked more beautiful than I have seen her in months. No way does she look like she is one week out of her first chemo treatment. Of course our table was one of the loudest with everyone telling stories and laughing. Oh yes the Vice President debate came up and it got even louder with everyone's opinion on how Palin did. Matt having lived in Alaska did have something positive to say about what she did for Alaska. We moved on to Marz Restaurant for dinner, to continue the joy of the three sisters all being together and I cant forget the three great men in our lives also. How grateful and lucky I am to have the special bond we all share, which I have used to get through this past year and what a year it has been. First John passing away October 9th, in August moving into the Klippel house to make it easier for Joel and Ashlee to move to Fairbanks Alaska. Matt sailing his boat down from Juneau through pretty stormy weather to live here, at the very same time Deb is diagnosed, had surgery, waited for the all powerful (fart), started eating and then finally getting to go home. She was and still is so amazing through this journey. Life is sure an adventure and I learn something new most everyday. I appreciate you Deb so much for being who you sharing your strengths and fears with me.
I love you Deb ...
your sis Wendy

I've started an amazing book..the Anti Cancer book....A New Way of Life....most likely at Costco....this is a fellow who really figured it out...how statistics really apply and how self healing is the key....I highly recommend it...
Don..remember to take care of yourself...I though I was and I was fooled...it was a hard lesson...one can be 100% and still self supportive...Iwas 100&% and didn't take care of myself...
